At Upgyan (The Institute of Creative Skills), we strive to provide the highest quality of education in Graphic Design and Digital Marketing. To maintain our operational standards and commitment to our mentors, we follow a transparent and structured Refund Policy.
Please read the following terms carefully before enrolling in any of our mentorship programs.
1. General Refund Terms
- Once a student officially enrolls in a course after attending a demo session, the Course Fee is strictly non-refundable.
- All registration fees or booking amounts paid to reserve a seat are non-refundable but will be fully adjusted against the total course fee at the time of final enrollment.
2. Demo Class Policy
- Demo Fees: If a fee is applicable for a specific Workshop or Demo Class, it is non-refundable.
- Enrollment Adjustment: If the student decides to enroll in the full course after the paid demo, the demo fee amount will be credited/adjusted towards their total course tuition fee.
- Post-Enrollment: Once the student completes the enrollment process (payment of the first installment or full fee) following the demo, no refund requests will be entertained under any circumstances.
3. Course Transfer Policy (No Refund)
We understand that personal emergencies or changes in interest can happen. However, Upgyan does not offer refunds for students who become uninterested or are unable to attend classes due to personal reasons.
- Transfer Option: Instead of a refund, students have the right to transfer their seat to another person (friend, colleague, or family member).
- Process: The student must provide a written request for the transfer. The new person must meet the basic eligibility criteria for the course. Once the transfer is approved and processed, the original student will have no further claim on the seat or the fee paid.
4. No Hidden Charges
- Upgyan maintains 100% transparency in pricing. The fee quoted at the time of admission is the final amount.
- There are no hidden charges or extra amounts included beyond the officially stated course fee. This includes all study materials, access to internal tools, and certification costs as per the initial agreement.
5. Batch Shifting (Freezing)
- If a student is unable to attend a particular batch due to a medical or professional emergency, they may request to “Freeze” their enrollment and join the next available batch within a maximum period of 6 months. This is subject to management approval and batch availability.
6. Rejection of Refund Claims
Refunds will not be processed for:
- Change of mind after the first 24 hours of enrollment.
- Non-attendance of classes without prior written notice.
- Lack of interest or inability to cope with the curriculum (Mentorship and support are always available to help students through difficulties).
